Thanks to the support of Desjardins Caisse de l'Ouest-de-l'Île, Ricochet now has a van to offer a shuttle service to beneficiaries, improving accessibility to essential Ricochet services and local resources. This service overcomes the challenges posed by the West Island's vast territory and the remoteness of certain resources, making it easier to get to where help is needed.​

 

The Ricochet shuttle is also used to accompany beneficiaries in their social reintegration efforts, whether for medical appointments, housing visits or other essential needs. This service is offered on request, providing flexibility and support according to individual needs.

In addition to community accommodation, the shuttle also provides daily trips to the shelter or other essential resources. When a beneficiary arrives at Ricochet Center and no bed is available, a meal is offered and assistance is provided in finding alternative temporary accommodation. This service embodies Ricochet's commitment to supporting every person, even when resources are limited, ensuring that no one is left without support.
